(that reeks of someone frantically making sure their picks make it in before the week gets under way early with 3 games on U.S. Thanksgiving.... I'll make my Thanksgiving Day picks for now: Green Bay to cover over the Lions I have trouble with Detroit - just when I started to think they'd fall back to earth, they went on a tear, causing me to actually believe for a second that Jon Kitna and the boys were actually for real. Then, once I start taking them, they lose 2 straight in ugly fashion. I've had trouble with the Pack also, not giving them enough respect for their 9-1 record. All of this means that it's a no-brainer for me to take the Pack over the Lions, and all of this means that now that I've made my pick, the Lions will come up big with a resounding upset. Dallas to cover over the Jets The Boys are back and they seem to be on a collision course with New England in late January. As sweet as Owens vs. Moss would be in a Super Bowl, the Patriots would still crush them. Indy to cover over the Falcons Gotta go with the Colts, although they've been less than impressive since the Pats shattered their perfect record, and every now and then, the Falcons come up with a big game...
