Welcome to the MiltonSearch.com blog!
The idea is not necessarily all about us (MiltonSearch.com) having a forum to ramble on about Milton-centric topics, but also for you to have your say!
We’ll do our best to post here weekly on a variety of topics including: Milton: the good/the bad/the ugly, sports, politics, the internet and even the paranormal…. It may be a lengthy commentary or it could just be a statement or question. What we want is your two cents! Even if it’s only a quick retort of a few powerful words (ok, maybe not too powerful). Whatever it is, just state your opinion.
The few minutes a week it takes to participate will not only help to grow our site into Milton’s #1 destination on the web, but will also help do what our slogan says: connect our community.
Oh yeah, and thanks for visiting our site! We hope you like it so far - we’re adding new content daily, so make sure you bookmark us and check back frequently. Sorry to report that Milton is the only town I’ve almost choked to death in and the only town I’ve ever been busted for speeding in a community safety zone in the middle of the night on a stretch of road that should be 70km/hour. The only thing I truly love about Milton is the good friends I have there - and the rest of the place seems very pleasant (choking and tickets aside).

Let me guess - you were driving along Ontario St. heading north past EC Drury secondary school…. If so, I feel your pain.
Ontario St. should be at very least a 60km/hr zone, and this whole ‘community safety zone’ stuff is crazy. The school is so far back from the road - I’ve never seen a soul out walking near the road in that area. Not to mention you recieved the ticket in the middle of the night - I can’t imagine you were endangering too many students at the time….
Oh well, that’s Halton Regional Police for ya - it’s easier to nab a few people speeding along a deserted-but-well-lit road late at night than keep tabs on, say, one of Milton’s convenience stores which seem to get robbed weekly…
Thanks for checking out the site, and be nice to your Miltonian friends! (oh, and always remember to properly chew your food).
Peace, out.
