Unsure of who to vote for? Try CBC’s Vote Compass

CBC Vote Compass

Well, here we are. For Ontario residents, it’s election day.

Are you still unsure of who to vote for?

If so, it would hardly be surprising. It looks to be a close race between the Liberals and Progressive Conservatives in the province. And you can’t count out the NDP after their impressive results federally this past Spring.

If you’re unsure as to which party best meshes with your beliefs and positions on the key issues, CBC has developed an online tool to assist you in today’s decision. The Vote Compass.

Vote Compass is an educational tool developed by political scientists in which you answer a short series of questions to discover how you fit in the Ontario political landscape. It only takes a few minutes to complete and your responses are anonymous.

As of election day, the Vote Compass has received over 115,000 responses.

And the results? Well, as in our case, they may surprise you.

Even if you are not currently sitting on the fence, this online tool is definitely worth the ten minutes it takes to complete.

See you out at the polls!
