On the Campaign Trail is a regular feature on MiltonSearch.com, focused on connecting Milton residents to the candidates for Town Council and their platforms. The Municipal election is October 25th, 2010.
Today we’re going to look at the race in Milton Ward 1, essentially a rural Ward apart from a sliver of urban area at the very east end of town. The Ward covers the area south of Britannia Road and east of Fourth Line, bounded in the north by the 401, the east by the 407 and the south by Burnhamthorpe Rd.
The candidates for Ward 1 in no particular order are: Sharon Barkley, Martin Capper and Andrew Salmons.
